Closer to Furever

How It Works

Apply - complete our application so we can learn what kind of dog you can support (energy level, size, medical needs, etc.).
Match & Placement - we'll pair you with a dog who fits your home and schedule. We'll walk you through the first days, routines, and expectations.
We Support You - 3SR is your backup. We help coordinate vet care and provide guidance throughout the foster journey. Vet care is at no cost to you.
Help Them Shine - you'll give love, structure, and real-life experience—plus share updates that help us market the dog accurately.
Adoptions & Goodbyes (the good kind) - we screen adopters and manage the adoption process. Your foster heads to their forever home... and you just made room to save the next one.

How It Works

Browse & fall in love - Meet our adoptable dogs and learn their personalities, needs, and “perfect match” details.
Apply to adopt - Complete our adoption application so we can understand your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for.
Match & meet-and-greet - We’ll set up a meet-and-greet (and, when possible, a home-style visit) so you can see how the connection feels in real life.
Approval & adoption day - Once approved, we’ll review the adoption agreement, share medical records, and go over routines, supplies, and transition tips.
Welcome home - You’ll bring your new best friend home with guidance and support—because the right paws don’t just fill a space… they make it home.
